Fitzroy Simpson, former Jamaican international

Former Jamaican World Cup star, Fitzroy Simpson, chatted to Inside about his two-decade career as a player and life as an intermediary post retirement.

Fitz started his professional journey with Swindon in the late 1980s and went on to make almost 500 appearances in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, including spells with Manchester City, Portsmouth and Hearts. Capped 43 times by Jamaica, he appeared in all three of the Reggae Boyz’ matches at France 98.
